Support for the ETH Robotics Project

We are pleased to support an innovative robotics project as part of ETH Zurich’s Bachelor Focus Projects with precision components from our manufacturing facility.
 
An interdisciplinary team of students is developing a mobile robot capable of dynamically balancing on a single wheel. The system combines an upper body with a powerful drive system in the hip, enabling the robot to jump so that obstacles can be overcome and new terrain reached. Complemented by modern sensor technology, the result is a robot with high mobility and precise environmental perception.
 
Our employees have already manufactured the first components for this project. We are very pleased to contribute to this forward-looking development with precision components from our production facility. We look forward to seeing the robot in action soon.
