An Index C100 has recently enriched the machine park of August Manser AG. The state-of-the-art automatic lathe is now in operation and supports the three identical machines that have been used successfully for some time.
The fact that a fourth Index C100 has now gone into operation is a decisive advantage for the customers of August Manser AG. "All four systems are identically equipped, which gives us maximum flexibility - not to mention the increased capacity," explains Thomas Frei (Head of Sales, Member of the Executive Board). On the four identical lines, automated production is possible from three-metre rods up to a diameter of 42 millimetres. Three simultaneously operating tools enable the production of complicated components in record time and with the highest precision. For manufacturing process development and optimisation, the complete machining process can be simulated natively on the PC.
