New conventional lathe for apprentice workshop

Go backAlready last week, we were pleased to commission the new precision center lathe "GDW LZ400s Comfortline" in the apprentice workshop.
The new machine is a gratifying step towards adapting to changes and advances in technology and is already giving a lot of pleasure to the apprentices and the production staff.
The robust machine is intuitive and easy to operate and handle. In addition, there are a variety of operator aids that make manufacturing more efficient and easier, as well as more diverse.
Furthermore, the size of the machine allows the production of large components up to a maximum of Ø 400mm via bed or Ø 225mm via cross slide up to a length of 1000mm using a three-jaw chuck, as well as the production of small components from Ø 3mm using a collet device.
