New conventional lathe for apprentice workshop

The machine gives the apprentices a lot of pleasure.

Go back

Already last week, we were pleased to commission the new precision center lathe "GDW LZ400s Comfortline" in the apprentice workshop.

The new machine is a gratifying step towards adapting to changes and advances in technology and is already giving a lot of pleasure to the apprentices and the production staff.

The robust machine is intuitive and easy to operate and handle. In addition, there are a variety of operator aids that make manufacturing more efficient and easier, as well as more diverse.

Furthermore, the size of the machine allows the production of large components up to a maximum of Ø 400mm via bed or Ø 225mm via cross slide up to a length of 1000mm using a three-jaw chuck, as well as the production of small components from Ø 3mm using a collet device.
