Fit for emergencies – we are strengthening our first aid skills

Through targeted first aid and AED training, we have refreshed our knowledge so that we can act quickly, safely and responsibly in an emergency.
Go backActing quickly and correctly can save lives – that's why we've made sure we're prepared for emergencies.
In two coordinated training courses, we refreshed and expanded our knowledge of first aid and the use of defibrillators (AEDs).
Part 1 – Company first aid course
Twelve dedicated employees completed a four-hour course covering all the important topics in first aid:
from basic life support (BLS) and the use of an AED to unconsciousness, heart attack, stroke and choking.
This means that our company first aiders are well prepared to react quickly and confidently in an emergency – when every minute counts.
Part 2 – Short AED training course for all employees
The entire workforce also received a one-hour refresher course in the use of the defibrillator.
This means that we all know how to act correctly in an emergency and how to effectively set the alarm and rescue chain in motion.
Cardiovascular arrests are among the most common medical emergencies – rapid intervention can be crucial.
With this training initiative, we are taking responsibility and working together to contribute to greater safety in the workplace.
A big thank you to all participants and the course instructors for their dedicated implementation.
