Visit from the Rorschach-Rheintal Vocational and Further Education Centre

Insight into the world of high-tech production: from the individual component to the finished product. This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 40 future polymechanics and design engineers from the Rorschach-Rheintal Vocational and Further Education Centre.

In the precision production department, they saw how we manufacture high-precision components on CNC machines, some of which are equipped with the highest degree of automation. In the assembly department, they were able to see live how we assemble components and mechanical systems into a complete mechanical product.

Another highlight was the visit to Zünd Systemtechnik AG, where they were able to watch the final assembly of control elements and electronics and then see the end product - a high-precision cutting plotter - in operation. The enthusiasm and commitment of the young specialists was a great pleasure for us.

This day showed us once again how important it is for the industry to attract young people to technical professions and to familiarise them with the exciting diversity of modern technology. The interplay between practical experience and theoretical knowledge is a key aspect of this.
