Career Orientation 2023

Last Wednesday, August Manser AG opened its doors to nine curious high school students in search of their future careers. After a warm welcome from our vocational trainer, the students were able to gain exciting insights into the world of mechanics.

During a presentation on the professions of polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ and mechanical trainee EBA, the students were able to gain their first impressions. They then explored the areas of CNC turning, CNC milling, CAM programming and assembly on a tour in smaller teams.

One of the special highlights was being able to label a personal water bottle with their own name using our laser marking machine - definitely a souvenir of this exciting day! After the tour, the group gathered again to ask all their unanswered questions and exchange ideas over snacks.

Finally, it was time to say goodbye. But not without a little souvenir: each student received a gift to remember this educational afternoon. We can't wait to hopefully see some of these faces again at a future taster apprenticeship.
