The machine park of August Manser AG continues to grow: an Index C200 automatic lathe of the latest generation has gone into operation. This means that the two existing identical machines have been reinforced by a sister.
The first complex workpieces are already being produced on the new automatic production lathe - and in the highest quality. The identical machine ensures more flexibility in production. "Now we can again offer our customers expanded capacities with redundancy," says a pleased Thomas Frei (Head of Sales, Member of the Executive Board). The Index C200 enables automated production from bar up to a diameter of 90 millimetres. In addition, components up to a diameter of 150 millimetres can be machined in the chuck. Three simultaneously operating tool turrets, each with up to ten tool stations, allow complicated components to be produced in record time.
For manufacturing process development and optimisation, the complete machining process can be simulated natively on the PC.
